Hi,

I'm new to this forum, having recently purchased a Canon 350D and a 50mm lens. I also have some other Canon (zoom) lenses from an old EOS-1000 and the 18-55 kit lens that came with the 350D.

Photography is a hobby that I'm only just starting to get into, but I've worked in Industrial Machine Vision for the last 12 years so have a reasonable knowledge of optics and lighting. This also makes available to me copy stands, tripods, some high frequency lighting etc

Main interests are in portarits (I have a long family) and in landscape (I'm fortunate to live in Mid-Wales)

Hopefully I'll take some pictures that are worthy of being posted on this forum.
