I've more or less decided on a new monitor that combines an HD digital TV.

There's a good offer on for the Samsung 22" (T220HD) and I was wondering if anyone had any problems/issues with using one of these combos before.

The resolution is 1680 x 1050

The contrast ratio is 10000:1 which I think is good, although a lot of site say to ignore this measure as each manufacturer could use a different measurement spec.

Is there anything else that I should be looking for?

I would recomend any Dell Ultrasharp over a Samsung screen to be honest. Although that one isnt too bad.

Thanks, but do Dell do a Monitor and TV combined. I have space issues.

No they dont, sorry I over looked that part.

But you could get a TV tuner for the computer?

I should have explained a bit better.

The monitor is to use with a laptop so I can make sure that the colours etc of my photos are all okay.

Hence the dual purpose requirement.

Thanks for your help anyway

One of my friends has a 22 inch Samsung, its one of the best tv/monitors ive seen, but the expensive dell monitors are amazing, but personaly if i could afford it i would go for an apple cinema display -- expensive ***, but amazing

Hi ta.
I think I'm going to go for the Samsung, especially that since I started looking at then they've dropped in price from £270 to £200.

I have the Samsung T220HD and can't fault it, has all the connection options you could wish for and is a pretty decent tv as well.
