So, the old thread is getting quite long now and is slowing down, so I thought I'd start a new one but with a twist: The song has to be put through Google translate, translated to another language then translated back again before being posted. This will muddle up the lyrics.
No idea if this will actually work but hey...
Rules:
1) Name the language you translated it to
2) The song must be a well known song, no silly impossible to guess ones.
3) 24hr rule applies: Answer not guessed correctly within 24hrs; or the person who has guessed correctly has not posted something up within 24hr, then someone else can post a new lyric.
4) Lyrics should be reasonably long, between 2 and 4 lines.
Only the title is needed but correct artist = bonus points.
EXAMPLE:
Albert Hammond - Down by the River:
Original lyrics: Doctor put us both to bed
He dosed us up and he shook his head
Only foolish people go, he said
Converted to Japanese:医師はベッドに私たちの両方を入れて
彼は私たちを投与された、彼は彼の頭を横に振った
唯一の愚かな人々が行く、と彼は言った
Converted back to English: The doctor put us both to bed
Was given us, he shook his head he
He said stupid people only go, and
So, to start us off, this one was converted to Latin and back:
There is, however, a sign on the wall will not be published
The reason is said to have two meanings now know
A tree into the river, it's a who sings SONGBIRD
Otherwise, all our thoughts misgiven
