"New Old Film Challenge" #109 'Gone Shopping' Discussion Thread

Wish I could enter one taken by my wife's grandfather in 1908ish - scan from a quarter plate glass neg recovered with many other boxes full from his garden shed over 30 years ago. Had them fumigated back then (ethylene oxide, thanks un-named British Museum conservator) to kill off the dry rot fungi, slug and snail eggs, silver fish etc.. They languished under a bed until I got the means a few years ago to scan them and see what was restorable. This is Horace Henry's younger sister returning from shopping in Applegarth Road in Hammersmith where they lived at the time.

I knew Applegarth road, Just off Brook Green,you would need between One and two Million to buy a house there now and as it is a no through road is not used as a rat run
and is highly sort after.
 
@compulsivehordr just what has Nick done to that girl with the hooped ear-rings, I wonder???
