This theme is inspired by news that the "Harry Potter train" has been sidelined due to safety issues, thereby disappointing thousands of visitors. I'm looking not only for large/medium/model trains, but trams, funiculars and the like, or even the rails themselves.

As usual the following rules apply:
- Must be taken by you
- Must be on film
- Must have been taken, developed and scanned prior to the start date of this challenge.
- Discussion in the discussion thread (link below) rather than this Entries thread, please.
- Shoehorning and even Crowbars are positively encouraged!

Please include details of the camera, lens, emulsion and anything else of relevance if you can possibly remember that far back.

One Entry per person only.

Entries close at 23:59 on 8th August 2023 (or thereabouts),to be followed by 3 days for the poll after that.

Please keep all discussion and chit chat in the discussion thread. https://www.talkphotography.co.uk/t...discussion-thread.698995/page-17#post-9365584

So well sorted it cornered like it ran on rails...

unless you went into the corner too quick and it understeered...

or you gave it to much throttle and it oversteered

(maybe a little bit of a shoehorn?)

Rails were used for launching boats on the slipways, the right hand slipway was later replaced by a landing quay, the old boathouse is just visible at the bottom left corner.

Oops, looks like this closed for entries last night. It might be tomorrow before I get the poll up, but I'll try later.
