My theme for the next challenge is...

"Chiaroscuro" (see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chiaroscuro), a "technique, developed during the Renaissance, that uses strong tonal contrasts between light and dark to model three-dimensional forms, often to dramatic effect".

Yes, this is a bit unusual, but I hope you all have fun searching your archives for something that fits, or can at least be shoe-horned in!

(Last week it was suggested that I wait until early in the week, then announce the theme "Cornwall". I have resisted this, as my films will probably not be back in time! ;) )

Rules, copied and pasted from the last challenge, as is the tradition:

◦ Must be a photograph taken by you
◦ Must be on film
◦ Must have been taken (and devved and scanned) prior to the start date
◦ Please tell us about the camera and film etc, and a small description of the photo.

Closing date is 28th May at midnight.

This thread is for your entries. Nattering to be done in this thread...

Hopefully this one qualifies. It was taken at one of our annual days in the pub for the Grand National, so that's why there are horses on the TV. I managed to find the negatives for this and surprised to see it was taken on Ilford Delta 400, which wasn't one of my usual films. Camera was pocket-sized and would have been Oly XA or mjull, or possibly the Minox GT. The scan is dated 2007, so either then or 2006.
