In our parks, by the sea, on our High Street and in our gardens- they are everywhere! So let's see your old photos of benches in unusual and picturesque places and, of course, the people who use them!

As usual the following rules apply:

  • Must be taken by you
  • Must be on film
  • Must have been taken, developed and scanned prior to the start date

Please include details of the camera, lens, emulsion and anything else of relevance if you can possibly remember that far back.

One Entry per person

Entries will close Sunday 18th July and voting will be open for 3 days after that.

Entries only here please, discussion thread is here

Part 1 of London's Capital Ring walk, from Richmond to Osterley Lock. Spotted this couple taking a breather on a bench at Richmond Lock, Shot on a Nikon FM2n with the legendary 105mm f2.5 lens Agfa Vista 200, tweaked in Lightroom

Given the date (12 december 2009) and the other pics on the roll, this would have been taken with the Canon Demi half frame, with either Rollei Retro 100 or 400...

Final Rest?

Well we have a tie between myself and @ChrisR As he lead the votes for most of the 3 days I'll let him take over! (y)

Just spotted this, thanks everyone. I'll have a quick think, now where's that list of previous challenges??? (Rhetorical question!)
