We often forget about looking down. So, what have you got that's inspired by "down"? Maybe literally what's down there, or perhaps looking down, or any other kind of down?

As usual the following rules apply:
  • Must be taken by you
  • Must be on film
  • Must have been taken, developed and scanned prior to the start date
Please include details of the camera, lens, emulsion and anything else of relevance if you can possibly remember that far back.

One Entry per person

Entries will close at the end of Sunday 1st August and voting will be open for 3 days after that.

Entries only in this thread please, discussion thread is here

I hope the local indigenous people are not offended by this image of my wife coming down Uluru, then known as Ayer's Rock...

Electro Spotmatic and Kodachrome. I obviously also came down, which means my acrophobia must have kicked in somewhat after 1977! This picture makes me squirm, just looking at it I get sweaty palms now!

Congratulations @Jao! Excellent shot. I was quite worried there for a bit! Over to you, Adrian...

Bother, misread the voting. It seems I've got to think again. Sorry @Jao! Oh well...
