This is the entires thread for the New Old Film Challenge LXXXIII. The theme is SPEED

Standard rules as always:

Must be taken by you
Must be on film
Must have been taken, developed and scanned prior to the start date
Please include details of the camera, lens, emulsion and anything else of relevance
One Entry per person
As always, f&c shoehorning is positively encouraged.

This is a Schweizer 269C-1 helicopter - and yes it does use rubber bands to drive the blades and tail rotor.

Found this one when looking through old slides for something else. It was taken at Ingliston, Edinburgh, on 6th May 1979 at the Pentax Trophy race meeting. It's a 5 litre VW Beetle and the note says 50mm @ 1/125 and f4 on Agfachrome.
