Hi All,

I have just started a flickr account this week...I used to use Photobucket.
What I need to know is, how do I take an image from flickr and post it on Talk Photography so that it shows the image, and not just the image location?

Any help would be appreciated,

Hi Phil, you need the bbcode. You will find it by clicking one of your photos on flickr, click the pull down arrow next to the facebook & twitter icons, choose the bbcode option, select the code, copy and then paste direct into your post.

I'll try that Steve. I will spend some time this weekend looking through your images on flickr. I only took a short look, but there seem to be some impressive images on there.

Another question if you don't mind, how do you get the flickr (logo)link on to your posts?
 
Hello and welcome to Flickr, its fun, I just got a pro account and like watching my stats :)

I will post a link tomorrow about the logo if u don't figure it out by then.
 
Alternative to the above, click on the "view all sizes" link under actions, click the size you want, rick click "copy image location", and then click on the little square with teh mountains in it just above the place where you type here and paste the URL
