Quaker Messages 972 Name Quaker Edit My Images Yes 6 Jul 2009 #1 I was thinking about going for a nifty fifty but a friend of mine recently got a 35mm f1.8 and the results are brilliant. I hear much about the nifty fifty, but has anyone got a 35mm and if so, what do you make of it? Is it worth the extra £100?

Klopek Messages 294 Edit My Images No 6 Jul 2009 #7 I've never used the f/2 but I did buy the 35 mm f/1.8 a few months ago and can definitely recommend it! I took it to my sister's wedding and often whack it on the camera if I'm going to indoor social events where available light might be an issue.

D debbiejo Messages 157 Edit My Images No 6 Jul 2009 #8 I picked up the 35mm f/1.8 a few weeks ago and it's a stuning lens. This is one of the first shots I took with it (sorry for re-posting the image ) The lens is light and well made and feels right. I did think it was a little slow to focus on a few occasions but that may just be me. Debs
