I only want to touch the composition tab with you Liz.

As it is, your shot is somewhere like 33 % black and
this area does not contribute positively (IMO) to the
visual pleasure.

To have framed the shot so just a bold line of black at
the bottom and the grass growing on it would have
rendered a better image I think!

You are right im going to to keep that in mind.now that you say it the black does look abit overwhelming and too much.thanks alot for the advicr

I fully agree. Lots of folk do that with landscape shots and it is so easy to make a big improvement by cropping.
