I am not quite sure why you own a D810 and plan to use these lenses!!!
Your most important investment is the lens (that will possibly stay with
you a long time) as the bodies are upgraded by makers regularly.
IMO, the right direction would be a D750 with a budget for better lenses.

True I got the 24-120mm with my D750, I already own the 24-70mm but use the 24-120mm for a 1 lens holiday kit and as said above it's a great lens, granted it's not as good as the 24-70mm but as a holiday lens it's fantastic.The 24-120 gets sold as a "kit" with the D810, its a fine lens and in my experience as good as most of the 24-70 f2.8 options (albeit without the f2.8)

D810 + the new 24-124 f4 is a great combination ... are you thinking the older 24-120 Kodiak?

this is just a walk around/holiday lens.
There is two 24-120 lenses....
I'm talking about the newer one.
