ive never seen one let alone used one,has anyone here?

whats it like,is it worth saving up for?

nothing else i can see in the nikon ff lens to match it

I've only ever seen one for sale, and it went for £2500. They are rather rare.

I went for the sigma 24mm f/1.8, its easily as sharp as my nikon 50 1.8 and 85 1.8.

Stupidly over-priced and the Sigma 30mm f/1.4 is sharper (yes I know its not full frame)

I've used one, and tbh it wasn't that impressive. I only paid £580 for mine (bought it while living in Japan), and frankly it was £580 too much.

Wide open is had CA, coma, and aberations. Its a lens for people who collect lens, but never take photos IMHO.

I have used one, on someone elses camera though. It's a beast, really heavy, so not something I would carry about much Besides, they're selling for even more than #2500 now so mega money.
