OK guys, I know you have told me already that I really should only use TC's with primes, but I do have method to this idea.
I originally started with the 16-85 and 70-300 in my camera bag. I am now the proud owner of the 70-200 f/2.8.
My next idea is to purchase the 1.7 TC which may allow me to also purchase the 24-70 f/2.8.
How?
Well, I have approximately 600 quid saved up, and if I sell the 16-85 and 70-300, I should be close to affording the 1.7 TC and 24-70. Does this all sound good?
My only concern is the performance of the 70-200 f/2.8 with the TC. If it performs as good as the 70-300 performs, then I have no worries. I am hoping that it will perform better.
What are your thoughts on this?
Thank you.
