Here's a quick test of the new 85mm F1.4 lens. Shot at F1.4, ISO 400

Take it from me, for sharpness wide open the lens wipes the floor with the D version.
Can't see any difference in the quality of bokeh but will compare further.
Focusing is average - certainly not fast. But I find it more accurate than the previous model.
Would I recommend it - yes! Sharpness is improved and focusing accuracy is much better. It also "feels" like the minimum focusing distance is shorter. Contrast is also better and images are brighter. My biggest disappointment with the older version was sometimes images were quite dark and contrast was lacking. This one improves on that.
