I agree with DiddyDave. The D100 was my first and only digital camera. As such, there is nothing wrong with it. I don't use mine (or any digital any more) but that is for reasons other than quality.
Obvious 'new toy syndrome' is very perssuasive and I am as guilty as anyone from suffering with this.
At the time I bought mine there was a feature on a UK wedding photographer in Amateur Photographer magazine. The photographer was saying that they used to use Fuji S3 cameras but changed to D100s because they considered that they were the perfect camera for weddings.
Well... that was only five or six years ago. Obviously technology has moved on from then with better high ISO performance, higher resolutions, faster AF, etc. but it will be just as good now as it was five years ago.
