I sold my D700 and picked up a D3s ridiculously cheap which I won't complain about
I was using the 28-300mm whilst on my honeymoon with the D700 and the images were great, but it lacked some sharpness unless I stepped upto around f8 which wasn't ideal in low lit areas and at night. I sold the lens and I am looking for something faster.
I mainly do casual shooting, some family, holidays, etc. I have a Nikon 17-35mm 2.8 which I use for work when shooting properties. I want something that will give me a good range and the 28-300 was amazing at that. I have my eyes set on the 70-200 but also the 24-70. I have a feeling I will get annoyed with the limited range of the 24-70 as I don't fancy changing lens every time I realize I am out of reach (it annoyed the hell of me when I did it with a Canon 5d MK II and the 24-70, I just kept the 70-200 on all the time instead).
Any advice?
