No longer can upload pics?

Hey guys ive been just simply plugging my camera into my computer and uploading straight away. But for some reason it keeps trying to install the camera. Ive not deleted any programs or anything.

Any ideas? It also used to say "Busy" when the firewire was plugged in but i dont even get that.

I'm afraid this is typical of just connecting a camera up to the pc. Most times it works but sometimes it just goes pear shaped and you can mess around for ages trying to get it going again.

Do what the vast majority of us do and get yourself a card reader see here.
put your memory card in there, hang it on to the pc via a usb2 port and it just sees it as a separate drive. Problem goes away.

The elegant solution is to fix your current problem... the working solution is to just bypass it with a card reader
