Noise Reduction Software

I’ve just met a helpful photographer while photographing New Brighton lighthouse.
I’m real glad I met him as he gave me some good advice and I’m really happy with the results.

He mentioned the name of some noise reduction software, but for the life of me I cannot recall the name.

I’m probably totally wrong, but is there noise a reduction software call ‘nish’ something? He said it’s around $20 to download.

Failing that, is there anything anyone would recommend? I’ve not got much to spend, so freeware would be good for now! I’m new to the hobby and would rather save the money for better kit at the moment.

Noiseware community is free, the standard version is about £20 and will batch process and a few other bits the community won't do.

It's very good.

Just tried the noiseware community, first impressions are
