Finally got round to cancelling my Orange contract and am now trying to Sync my contacts from a Nokia 6500 Classic to the iphone, or mac, or something, anything !

Scoured the net but keep hitting brick walls, like isync seemed a great way of doing it - 6500 Classic not bloody supported.

Anybody done this and have an easy way of pulling the contacts off the old phone and sim ?

Can you not send your entire phonebook by Bluetooth? I know you can with the Sony Ericssons!

prob the easiest way is to sync them to google using goosync or something... then sync them back to the iphone from google?

been there.

sync from nokia to windows address book (wab file) and then from there to apple phone

can you put all your contacts into microsoft outlook this should nautomatically sync then with iphone.

or can you copy them onto your sim and put your sim into the iphone then on settings there is a copy sim contact on your iphone.

hope this helps

Tried that, well the sim in iphone and copy but that hasn't worked. I don't have outlook either.

Can you export as a Vcard? Address book on Mac can read that and use this to update iPhone.

Alternatively export as text file, and import this to mac Address book May need a bit more work though.

i just put my sim into the iphone and copied them over
they just needed a little tidying up and all was fine
