Hi all,

I've got a model lined up for some photography in a week's time. Weather permitting I'd like to do some outdoor shots in the early evening. I'm considering a sort of garden location & perhaps some grittier shots as the light fades in a more industrial / deserted apartment type location.

Anyone got any suggestions in or around Northampton? They need to be accessible from 7pm to 9pm-ish

Whereabouts in the shire are you thinking?
 
For the industrial type stuff try the industrial estate behind W.Grose on the Welford road (take the junction where Netto is) not too sure about the garden type stuff, you'd probably be beter out in the villages for that.
 
Hi Phil. When you say garden shots do you meen with flowers etc or a grass type area. If it's grass then you could try Pitsford ressy. If you go into Pitsford take the turning down to the carpark. Dont think they lock it.:police: It's a nice outlook over the water.:wave::wave:

Garden shots ..... you could look at Lamport not too far from Pirsford Water, Industrial .. Grafton Industrial in the town center, Brackmills, then theres Lakeside out the back of billing aquadrome (few gardenny areas down on the edge of the Nen and also a few disused factory units

If you go to Grafton Industry you would have a visit from the boys in blue and maybe from other types of models:whistling::exit:

Wow - many thanks for the suggestions - I'll try and check a few out before next week. Billing sounds promising if it can cater for both styles in a small area. I think that's where the wacky-warehouse is (taken the kids there a few times) - I'll check it out!

The do lock it now, after it had got a bad reputation it had got to the point where they had people to direct you to different areas depending on our choice of dodgy activity :eek:

(My mate works at the sailing school there, hence my knowledge)
