Northern Ireland Landscape Photographers

Howdy mate ... So originally from Belfast, have been living in Cambridge for the past 18 years or so. Moving back (North Antrim Coast) at the end of Jan 2016. First task is to hunt out some like minded landscape / wildlife photographers for some meet ups etc .... Second task will I'm sure be to waterproof everything I own :)

cheers,

Nige

I'm in newtownards , not that much time to get out for landscapes unfortunately

I'll add myself to the list. Not a great opportunity for landscapes where I am (around Hillsborough area), but like Philip I enjoy getting out for walks in the hills when I can and take the camera with me. If you are on facebook there are a couple of groups relating to NI landscape photographs with plenty of members.

A couple of mine from Sunday on Slieve Croob. Very cold and windy and these were about as good as I could get (didn't hang around).

I'm in Ballymena, need to get out with my camera more but I always struggle to think of where to go. Usually end up on the north coast but planning to get to the mournes in the next few weeks.

I'm from Lisburn, to be honest I'm generally a fair weather photographer, most of my shots are when I'm in Lanzarote (I generally visit there 3 or 4 times a year) or Dublin when I'm down for rugby matches. I'm in the same boat as JonnyH89 I struggle to think of anywhere to go locally.

Not many NI peeps in here then. Had to use the search tool to find this thread :).

I've slowly been exploring the mournes this year and hoping to get up more over this winter.

Never tried cavehill or slemish, have any of you got favourite locations to shoot from?

Sorry can't help Mark but there's def a few of us on this group. Did you try the NI photography forums on FB?
