Northern lighthouses

Hello, my mum loves lighthouses, so I am on a mission to try and take her an AMAZING picture of one for her birthday.

Over the weekend I went to Souter and St Mary's lighthouses and got some lovely shots (may go back late at night and sunrise) but I was wondering if there are any nice pretty ones closer to me here in Manc?

I have googled it, but it hasn't helped

Shame your not free for a day out tommorow, I'm off to Anglesey and will be visiting Peanmon Point and South stack lighthouses for a little photography.

Both are interesting in different ways and both very photogenic.

Sunsetting from the west and on your back would be ideal for new brighton. Get a high tide with that and you should be ok.

There are Beach and Pharos Lighthouses in Fleetwood, known locally as Lower and Upper Light. Although perhaps not what you're looking for.

Fascinating subject - lighhouses seem to have an "atmosphere" about them.
