While running one of my Bi-annual Skye workshops a couple of weeks ago we were lucky enough to have 3 nights of intense northern lights and were also blessed with clear skies for the most part.

Here's a few shots from an unexpected but very welcome addition to the trip!

Night 1 outside our accomodation

Night 2 up at Storr Lochs with the Old man of Storr in the distance

Night 3 - I took the guys to Elgol for sunset, then we went for tea and then went back to Elgol in anticipation of the northern lights and it didn't disappoint!

Thanks for looking folks <3 :)

"Excellent" set of captures Nick, liking them all very much.

Very cool, a good place to be for that show.

I saw them faintly from my hometown, in the garden. They were spoiled by the light pollution from Glasgow over the horizon but I can say I've seen them now.

It was a wonderful sight.

Beautiful. I like the simple ones over the lake the best. I was lucky enough to see them more vivid than I ever imagined in Tromso, Norway, but Its on my bucket list to see them in the UK.
