Okay, NOW I'm jealous. I'm lucky if I can actually see the stars even on a clear night what with the increasing light pollution around here.
 
Excellent. How often do you get this treat. It's supposed to be quite active at present isn't it? I'm in Skye all next week so my fingers, toes, you name it, will all be crossed for a similar experience!

It depends on solar activity and clear skies. But there does seem to be a lot of activity recently.

Hope so, I'm coming up to Skye on Thursday for 4 days. Weathers not looking too good though:(
 
Lucky old you again lol, we missed out last time we all popped up your way in February 2013, you posted some the day we left lol. We are coming back up on the last week next February 2014 so hopefully better luck for us next time.
 
You’re so lucky, I just spent 12 days in Iceland lots of late nights and didn’t see them once. :bang:

all i can say ohhhhhhhhhhh 1 is awsome nice capture nice set but its number 1 all the way for me
 
I decided to move here six years ago from central Scotland.
I took up photography as a hobby about a year later. There isn't a whole let else to do up here after work to be honest :p
 
I have been following this on Facebook, so wish we were there now. Back up in April for a week.
 
Drove past the church in the last one today heading for Glenbrittle and the fairy pools. Was very overcast today :thumbsdown:
