So, I was coming to the end of a short family holiday in Scotland when I checked the photographs on my LCD.

To my horror, every photograph had a brown mark on them.

I let out an audible gasp.....then realised I had my sunglasses on and the brown mark was the result of the polarising.

Absolute nightmare...

Thought I'd post in the hope I wasn't the only one....

:D:lol: Ive done this! I was out for the day in Maldon once and checked the LCD and saw the same thing. I instantly had a really nasty knot in my stomach and was really worried :bonk:

Had a similar experience. I checked back some photos after quite an important shoot. Horrified, I realised every shot was out of focus in the centre. Not only was the shoot ruined, but I sure I would have to get my lens repaired...I headed home dejected, uploaded the images to my computer and to my amazement they were all pin sharp. I realised it had all been caused by a smudge on the camera screen...PHEW!

Done that with the first mobile I had with a colour display...polarised glasses on and thought the screen had packed in

I had a horrendous dust bunny on my images. It was only when I went into photoshop to edit it out I realised the dust bunny was a dirty mark on the monitor.
