Yes
Despite google maps and apple maps I love o/s maps and have been unable to find them online. Until now!!

Free o/s maps zoomable to footpath level, all viewpoints marked. Joy. Hope you find it useful.

Hmm, just had a look and received this message:

Sorry, we've run out of our allocation of data for today.
The problem with a free service is we cannot afford to buy more data.
Some tiles may appear blank.
Please try again later/tomorrow.

A shame.

Our local council have OS maps on their website which show all of the footpaths. Perhaps your council does the same (or could be persuaded to).

Steve.

GIS is my job so I have full UK coverage dataset of OS MasterMap - very handy.

OS License Agreements and Crown copyright are a bit of a mindfield but OS OpenSpace is worth a look for free.

Either I have lost the plot completely or...., but Big Maps do zoom to full 1:25000 scale. We use them all the time at work (and now I use them at home). Don't use the automatic setting though, you need to set it to Ordnance Survey

I was talking about the OP's original maps link which only zooms to 50000 - bing definitely zooms to 25000

Have now found this:

http://mortimermaps.SPAM/wtp3/wtp3.htm

which lets you compare two maps side by side.

Not forgetting OS' own MapFinder app - the tiles aren't desperately cheap, but competitive versus their paper equivalents, with the assurance of being updated by them. The iOS version offers 1:25,000 tiles for £1.99, and 1:50,000 for 69p. As the tiles are downloaded to your iPad/iPhone, there's no reliance on a net.connection.
