Quite a few GF1 owners on here, so I thought we could have somewhere to show off what this little beauty is capable of........

The 'Talk Equipment' thread is here - loads of info & discussion about the GF1.

Thanks

First one is awesome zoidberg - great colours and makes Morecambe look like the south of France. :)

cheers, amazing what a bit of tweaking in LR can do ;)
saying that, sunday was nice, clear sky and next to no breeze.
Must get a CPL for the 20mm.

F4 AP 800sec ISO400

Comments please

Hi oldboy. I'm probably not the person to comment, but here goes...

They are nice, but as you say the light is very flat. I would say compositionally better to put the windmill in one corner rather than right in the middle too - but what do I know? :)

Awesome mountains!!!! (y)

I climbed up the ridge on the left side of Stob Coire Nan Lochan there in very similar conditions last winter, but then we ended up in a complete whiteout near the top and turned back. Have to get back up there with my new camera :)

Your right Grum, it is very flat and move the windmill is better, will put one up for you to look at as soon as I've done it

Very little difference is there between No1 and No2 ie F400 on AP in Number 1 and on full Auto in number 2

Learning as we go, at least the camera goes with me now that it is so light to carry around, goint to get a lot more use than the the D90 did.

Thanks for your comments anyway mate.(y)

Oh ok........

This better?

This looks better to me .....learning all the time(y)

Yup imo - though the cut off tree in the top right now looks a little wrong to my eyes. :)

Here's a pic of my home (music) studio.

1/50, 3.5, 800

No messing around other than importing into LR and making it B+W

Little bit noisy but I quite like it.

WOW! That is a sweeeeet image!!!

I use REASON 4 to do my music, not that i do much as i am too busy doing other stuff!!

What do you use?

Example images of Voigtlander Ultron 35mm f1.7: The light was dull dull dull but the detail in the piggy when zoomed in 100% is great so on a sunny day this lens is going to be awesome!

What a Camera this GF1 with 20mm.
This picture taken quickly when I was picking up our tea at our local chippy.

Another few to add......

I'll post one for you! :D

You work in a recording studio!?! You lucky bugger! Nice pics.

Ta - it was a gig last night, though that is also a recording studio which I often work in. It is a good place to work, though I do lots of unsociable hours!

Few more pics
