Hi fellow toggers,

Picture me walking into Currys casually looking at the Nikon D700....dreaming, when I saw next to it the D300....reduced down to £899!! But it gets better I recently joined our local Camera club and one of the benefits was that new members get 10% off cameras at the said Curry's Store. This reduced the D300 to £809! I paid quicker than a rabbit in a foxes *** and left.....pinching myself as I drove off into the sunset :exit:

See there are happy stories after all!
 
Wow...I paid £1140 for my d300 in april at Jessops.

Similar story to me when I got my D300. I was in Jessops last Christmas looking to get a digital photo frame for my Mum and saw a 'refurbished' D300 for just £740. Luckily I have a friend that works their who told me it was just a camera that had been bought and returned as faulty but had been fully checked out by Nikon as being 100% working. Obviously I snapped it up there and then.

Contratulations on getting yours. You'll love it. Is it a trade up from the D90 or are you keeping both?

It will become my main camera, i'll use the D90 as a backup for Weddings

Sorry if this is a stupid question - but are there any left?! Or was it just the one? (Wakefield is a 20 minute drive ;) )
 
That was a great bargain, you've bagged an excellent camera for not a huge amount of cash (well relatively!)
