There is plenty of visual tension in this composition and
that is very pleasing but I see too few details of the white
walls. This has to do with the exposure settings. Perhaps
some EV- would have protected the whites.

An other point is the apparent softness of the image. Got
any idea where that comes from?

There's an appealing minimalism in this. I think there is plenty of life in the white walls. more detail would detract from the minimalism.
