Old Minolta lens to Sony A200

Hey folks was wondering if anyone could help I have an old Minolta (Need to get it out tomorrow) pre 85 and my son bought me a Sony DSLR. I know Sony bought over Minolta and Minolta changed their fitting back about 85 my question is,is there an adptor to fit the old Minolt lens to the Sony?. If anyone can give me any info that would be great thanks for the help.

Yes there is an adapter for non af lenses all af fit though not sue how good they work though

Thanks for the reply Billybob I done a ton of searching on google but still looking,if you know of any could you post a link bud or if anyone else has a link?

You would need a Minolta MD or MC to Minolta MA adaptor.

You can get glassless versions which are only worth it with macro lenses.. or ones with glass that will focus to infinity.

I don't think its worth the effort or bother too be honest!
