Olumpus SP-810 UZ

I have recently purchased an Olympus SP-810UZ. My photos have a black mark in the top left corner when I use the zoom. Does anyone have any idea what this can be? It looks like part of the lens cover.

You mentioned the black mark appears when you use the zoom.

Do you mean when the lens is at the wide angle or telephoto end of its range?

As the field of view of a wide angle lens is, by definition, wide, it is fairly easy for something close to the lens to end up within the field of view.

Can you post an example or two on here?
