Well that was easier than I expected. Kits arrived last week and I replaced the old ones in the XA2 and some that had turned to goo in a 35 RC. The hardest part was cleaning out all the bits. It just needed a bit of patience. Not run a test yet but the backs on both close nice and tight whereas they felt loose before.
 
I've just received negs/scans back from FilmDev, having put a roll of FP4 through my XA2 (that my dad bought new for my mum who only used it a handful of times):

I was just randomly shooting on a stroll around a local park and other places, to see if the camera was still working ok. No light leaks or other issues. Nice little thing.
