Yes
Has anyone here purchased the OneLight DVD set.

If so what are your views on it.

Regards

Nigel

I think it is great, it was the first lighting DVD I watched and it really opened my eyes.

Many thanks for the answer, out of interest what was the cost after currency conversion. And did you have to buy it from the states or did you find a UK distributor.

Nigel

Not cheap, is it?

Not cheap but worth every penny. No Uk distributor, you can only get from Zack. Probably one of the most informative "how to" DVD's you can get. Be on the look out for the next installment in the future.

I very very much rate this dvd, it was four very very well spent hours, well more because I've rewatched it a couplea times so far

I might let my copy of the DVD go for the right price, it would have to be a lot more than £70 though......was watching one on ebay last month and it went for £150.

I think I may invest in this come pay day

Location Lighting with Drew Gardner. Taken from Zacks website only £20 from the flash centre, and looks very interesting.

Again From Zacks Site

"Synopsis of this DVD :: You follow Drew on two big location shoots. He walks you through the location, the lighting, the thought process, and finishes each section with a quick look at the post production. The reason the post production is a “quick look” is because he does as much as he can at the time of shooting instead of relying on Photoshop. Granted, these images “require” some compositing. I mean, where are you going to find five perfectly trained badgers?"

I want to see this as I have been looking for a perfectly trained Badger for a little while now but to no avail:bonk:

the location lighting dvd with drew gardner is good but dont expect it to teach you anything about lighting really. Its more of a look at a couple of fairly big productions on location. I found it partly annoying and partly insparational in equal measure.
at £20 its worth a watch.

Mart.

i saw that and was too late :(

I too want this dvd:(
Hasn't a version of this sold a couple of times on TP. I think we need a circulation list.:)

Tell you what guys, when I get my copy back from a mate whos had it far too long, as long as it gets back to me and people are willing to pay postage my copy can do the rounds if people want to watch it.
Mart.

ok sorry guys just thought was less of a risk than posting around expensive disks and can't make any odds to him as anyone who borrows it is unlikely to buy it anyway... I shall now shush and never darken your forum with such thoughts again
