Yes
Hello friends,

A friend of mine, who is part of a J-24 sailing team, offered to be there to take some pictures, obviusly I say YES!

but then I started to think about it :ponders: water, salt, hot weather, lots of humidity.

The regatta will be on Acapulco, Mexico.

What do you recommend me to protect the camera against the salt and water? What to do, and what not do to?

:wave4:

What camera have you got Pablo? I.e. is it one of these weather sealed jobbies?

I use Clear Shower Caps from Boots (obviously not in Mexico but in the UK) the are £0.79p for a pack of 3 caps. They fit over the camera and flash. Then use an elastic band to secure them.

Cheap as chips....

Carl.

I have a 20D, and plan tu use it with my 28-105 or may be the 18-55 being on the boat.

The stormjacket is a must! and it's not expensive. I will check If I can get one ordered and here before the regatta.

Thanks
