Scotland Osprey locations in Scotland

Going to be staying in Stirling in a couple of weeks and looking for potential Osprey locations within a couple of hours of that base. If anyone has any local knowledge, it would be very much appreciated.

Thanks for the info, when I checked yesterday, the hides were sold out, but i'll keep checking.

Rothiemurchus looks great and also has availablity in the hide for when I need it.........let's hope the Ospreys perform!

My wife used to live near Castle Douglas and I've seen the ospreys hunting on the River Dee from the viewing platforms. They're quite close to Threave Castle too, and it's worth a visit.

Castle Douglas is a small town in Dumfries and Galloway, about two hours drive from Stirling.

Loch of Lowes has a breeding pair on webcam which is quite close to Stirling.
They will be needing to supply hungry mouths soon so the 3 Locks in that area should be good.
Loch Garton didn't have a breeding pair last time I visited, but Loch Insh is quite close and has a nest site on the island near the Church
