Hi People
Not sure if this will be posted in the correct forum - so appologise if not.
I'm naturally a landscape outside photographer, but I've been asked to photograph inside holiday cottages - the outside bit not a problem, but how is it best to do the inside? do you need wide angle lenses or use the panoramic side etc?
thanks for your help :)

Lighting and Studio forum is probably best place for this if you want it moved. Wide angles and flash are pretty handy for interior shoots. Exact set up will vary depending on size of rooms, windows, amount of reflection, effect wanted etc but there are plenty of people more eminently qualified than me on this topic.

if this could be moved - thanks
Just looking for some advice as never done it before

I've done a holiday cottage inside and out using 19mm and 28mm lenses plus a single flash. It does of course depend on size and layout.

It is possible to create beautiful interior images using natural light and switching on the interior lamps which add an inviting warm glow. You would of course use a tripod for this, given that shooting with very wide apertures will not yield the best result. For certain angles, metering for the interior will likely overexpose the windows and the scenes beyond, so some flash (which can be as simple as a bounced speedlight) will help to balance the interior with the exterior, adjusted to taste.

I'd also recommend shooting plenty of small details which make great filler shots.

A wide angle lens is the norm for many interior shots, it's likely you will need to correct some distortion later on.
