Just found this an Owl leaves imprint on Kendal woman's window, dont know if its been posted before

The bird had apparently crashed into the window of Sally Arnold's Kendal home, leaving the bizarre image - complete with eyes, beak and feathers, poor thing hope it was all right

"Our first concern was for the welfare of what we suspected was an owl "

....... well, it's hardly a shark is it :bonk::bonk:

That's really an amazing imprint. We regularly have birds hit the window but only a pigeon left a recognisable imprint.

A few years ago, a young sparrowhawk hit the window. It did not leave an imprint but was completely stunned. I went out to have a look/take a photo and it was looking very embarassed.

This year a pheasant hit the window which is really odd because pheasants don't fly much.

Had a couple of Pigeon strikes this summer on the patio doors as well as a few smaller blobs which I assume would be the sparrows that live in the conifers at the end of the garden.

"This would have been very uncomfortable for the bird" said the RSPB spokesperson.

Where would we be without these experts.

Had a sparrowhawk hit one of my windows once, was dead on the floor after that
