Looks great to me.Here is one from my trip to Iceland earlier this year. GH4 with Olympus 9-18 @ 9mm, f4, ISO1600, 30 second shutter. There has been some noise reduction in post but I'm happy with the end result.

I would say not too shaby for iso 4000, 1/400s at 400mm (800mm equ.)
GX9 + 100-400
Not the most exiting bird about but the first one i took with this camera/lens. The light was nearly gone hence the iso 4000!
Bird was very obliging and leave me 5 minutes to took the shot, as I said in my previous post the lens just wanted to focus on the background it didn't want to focus on the bird at all!

Have you tried the pinpoint focus option, it gives a small cross in the centre of the focus box.
It looks interesting but I can't see me spending that much when I use my Oly 9-18mm about once a month (if that). Mind you: I wouldn't be without my PL 100-400.Anyone using the PL 10-25 f1.7 ?
Aimed at the pro videoer ... or that's what I heard somewhere.Anyone using the PL 10-25 f1.7 ?
It’s popped up on my Radar..
Seen the reviews of the 10-25 but at £1700+ I can't imagine ever having any interrest in that!
I've seen there is a Laowa 9mm f2.8 which has very good review and very small. Still too expensive for me but at the 500£ mark seem a good UWA fast lens.
I've seen some reviews that suggested getting a Viltrox EF-M2 focal reducer adapter and a Sigma 18-35 1.8 is better than buying the 10-25, and a lot cheaper too. You can get both for less than 600 and you get something like an 11-24 f/1.3
Never really heard about this.
So if i get one of these vitrox EF-M2 and I screw on a samyang 12mm f2 NCS what do I get?
Sound like it good be a really cheap superfast wide angle?
Any reason why not to use in astrophotography?
With the adapter attached your mount is now EF, so only an EF mount Samyang 12mm would work this way and I don't think there is one? Just a note also: on the focal reducing version of the Viltrox you cannot mount EF-S Canon lenses, you can mount third party APSC lenses like Sigma.
So maybe the samyang 14mm 2.8 would work?
Can't beat that.I was just looking at my order history and I noticed that I bought my first MFT camera, a GF1, on 9th November 2009 so that's 10 years and counting with the system
Can anyone beat that?

A few images from todays visit to Brandon Wood Nature Reserve.
All with the G9 and Leica 100-400mm.
The Marsh Tit is a first for me.
