Wow Factor .... my next purchase?
Wow Factor .... my next purchase?
Thanks ... I will bear that in mind.If you haven't done so already I think you should read up on that lens before buying. It's a nice focal length and very compact and the image quality is nice too but on the negative side it's relatively slow to focus. I've had two, mk1 and mk2 but now have the Olympys 17mm f1.8.
That's exactly why I traded my 45-200mm for a 45-150mm. They were pretty much the same where they overlapped, but the difference in size/weight was huge.45-150 that'll do me! shorter, slimmer & lighter than the 45-200. On the GX80, gonna be good for around town on a wrist strap, discrete, one step up from a pocket job.

Woooo loving this, amazingly sharp, and altogether more manageable on my little GX80.
I now have the Panasonic 45-150, thanks for the advice chaps. I swapped the 45-200 for this little beauty this morning at jessops and was refunded the difference ...
The 45-150 is half the price but worth double!
I came close to spending the change on the 25 f1.7 but in a sense I'm glad I didn't, and stayed within my £500 budget (just about). Another day!
This 45-150 does amazing OOF BGs at f5.6 ....
