Panorama software

Hi all.

What is the best free or cheap panorama software? I used to have panorama plus that produced a couple of excellent images but I can't find a free (legitimate) version.

I wouldn't mind paying a little if it is good but free is preferred. I am using a PC with Windows 7.

this is one area where free does not get you good.
Try the best two first

PTGui
and PTAssembler.
Both excellent and with constant improvemrnts to keep up with new developments UPdates on PTAssembler are free. But it is not aimed at 360x180 work.

MS ICE - so cheap it's free.. and very good.

But very few projection options or advanced features.

Thanks for the quick replies.

I have downloaded the MS one and PTGUI and the PTGUI did a better job on the 3 pics I used. It was quite a difficult stitch tbh so I am going ot get some better pictures to work with and give them both a try again.
