Well what a mess that was..... what is the point in supplying a boot disk with your PC if it wont load the files needed for web connection from a CD ...only from a floppy drive which my PC was not built with when I bought it from Dell..... It was a good job we had another machine to download some drivers off our wireless network (what would we have to do if we did not have 2 computers???) then load them on to a USB stick then load, Surely the CD boot disk must be the way to do it?
Anyway...not sure what my process action of 'making' bootable CD is, in case this happens again.....it will need to have the correct drivers on it though.....lol.....
I am now on the look out for a tower build system, I run CS5 and LR, no games and my monitor is fine so if any of you tecchies could point me in the right place (or build me one ) I would be much appreciated.
Download "Belarc Advisor" and print off your computer details which includes all serial numbers to keep as a record incase you need the original OS serial number etc.
