I have used Palm machines in various guises since the first 500k palmpilots came out. I now have a Palm T5 (if I was buying now I'd get the Tx) the T5 has all the usual pda apps like diary, memos, calulators, contacts, notes.... It also has bluetooth, adobe pdf reader, documents to go which is basically M$ office for pda, various games, an e'book reader, a video player, mp3 player and I've added sat nav that works with a seperate gps receiver via bluetooth as well as a few personal/work related apps. The huge advantage this model has over most others is 'non volatile flash memory' so if the battery drains completely you don't lose any of your info.
I paid a little under £200 for my T5 the Tx which is newer costs under £180 and has the added advantage of WiFi as well as bluetooth, makes web browsing a lot easier from it.
