PDF editor/creator program

hi everyone

i'm looking to buy a program which would enable me to create PDF documents but also edit exisiting PDF doc's. using on a pc based machine.

i found this piece of software PDF Converter Professional 7 however, just wanted to ask if anybody else had any other recommendations. or if anyone has used the above software and maybe even used acrobat x pro and what they thought was the better software?

I don't have any need to edit pdfs, but I use PDF Xchange's free reader and I think it's the best pdf reader that I've come across. Assuming that goes across the rest of their pdf tools, I'd also look them. Available here: http://www.tracker-software.com/ You need to be looking at the Standard or Pro package if you want to do more complex stuff like editing pdfs directly. Having said that, the free reader allows you to markup docs adding comments/highlights etc and saving them back to file if that's enough for you.

If all you are doing is looking to create pdf docs by printing them, I use CutePDF which is also free.

thanks andy. think i am going to get adobe master suite as it has a lot of the software which i will need in future for certain projects i will be doing.
