Hello,

Any Pentax 67ii experts out there?

I've got a 67ii with the AE Prism and I'm getting readings but when I change the aperture on the lens (6x7 55mm SMC f3.5) the shutter speed doesn't update.

I think it should be able to pass the aperture to the camera?

I know the lens has a manual / auto lever for effectively previewing dof but this also updates the exposure in the viewfinder.

Either way anyone got any pointers?

Thanks
Stuart

Just checked a 67II that I'm borrowing with my older 6x7 lenses and the aperture on both lenses is tracked by the meter. Check if the metal tab inside the camera mount is there (it's in the top slot of the bayonet) and check if the metal tab on the lens mount is also present (it'll be in the metal slot that's next to the red dot on the mount). If either of those are missing or bent/worn away then they won't engage with each other and the meter won't track the aperture.

Thanks I will take a look!

I just checked with my other lens an older 90mm and that is working fine so must be an issue with the other lens
