South-East England Perseid Meteor shower

Given the Perseid Meteor shower is meant to peak this week and the weather seems quite conducive, has anyone got location suggestions for getting away from the light. I am based in North Kent but am willing to travel anywhere in the South East. I was thinking about Leith Hill in Surrey or along the South Downs, as I may be able to get some sunrise shots as well.

Any ideas are much appreciated.

I know it's a bit late, but for future you could head to Dungeness?

Thanks, in actual fact I did go down there. Was fantastic, as had the Milky Way in view for the most part, though it did start to cloud over around 3ish.
