Beginner Photo Galleries (Flickr, 500px, Picasa.....) How to choose from all of these?

If sharing photos with friends and family (I don't do social media ) what is recommended for easily sharing from the likes of Flickr, 500px, Picasa or something else. Considering, a single source of upload is preferable.

Any replies to the above queries are much appreciated.

Facebook, although it pains me to say it - if it's for friends and family, it's the sole reason I maintain an account.

Easy to share and easy to apply permissions and, generally, an awful lot of them will probably already have an account.

If you want to stay off Bacefook then Flickr will let you create an unlinked collection with a separate address that you can send them. Otherwise the blue F is very very easy.

Flickr is pretty flexible without the 'issues' associated with Faceache.

I use google photo albums. Easy to upload and send out links to family. Especially easy if you already have a Gmail account.
