Everything on my IE8 is default (security Med High) except cookie handling.

Set to override auto cookie handling.

Advanced Privacy set to accept first party block third party and allow session cookies.

Bucket loads no problem.

If that doesn't work for you then suggest you remove IE8, reboot and reinstall.

Rather than rebuild your profile for just one website, why not download a different browser such as Firefox or Chrome (yuck! :) ) to use for photobucket?

I often have both IE and FF running (although FF is my default), and swapping them and cross posting links is no more hassle than swapping between tabs.

Reinstall didn't work. I checked it out in another profile though, and it works there. Obviously something has gone FUBAR in my current profile, so I'll probably just end up rebuilding it. The joys...

Never changed a profile in my puff so whatever the standard one is works fine with Bucket.

why not just create a new user profile then copy the contents of your profile (docs, desktop, favs etc) over?

trouble is IE is rapidly retaking the thrown as the best browser (especially with v9 coming soon).. FF is fantastically bloated these days and chrome is based on IE anyway.. so id be inclined to say fix IE rather than switching browser.

I also had the freezing problem.
I have found that limiting the number of uploads at any one time to 3 cured the freezing but of course it doesn't solve the basic problem. Are you near to capacity!

I then opened up a second account using a different email and have no problems with that one.

I have been using IE 7 and also experiencing a form of freezing with PhotoBucket.......

-typically I would try to upload 12 photos and it would say transfer 10 and then it would hang on the last 2 for ages, the screen would freeze and I would then have to shut IE down and try again.

I am not sure if the option has always been there, but noticed today there is a "Bulk Uploader" for Multiple Files underneath the main upload button.

- it appeared to be a little slower than the normal version - but that probably is down to my PC and the external USB drives I have attached going into sleep mode, but tried several times uploading a dozen or more files using the Bulk Uploader option and each transfer has worked perfectly.
