This is doing my head in looking for something suitable.
Basically I'm looking for a box/case that I can bolt to the rear rack on my Lambretta, so I can transport my camera/lenses about, and it has to double up to take 2 helmets (instead of not alongside the camera kit)
Therefore the box/case dimensions need to be around 22x16x12 (l/w/h-inches) or in new money 56x40x30 cms.
I did look at the Peli cases, but as I would be drilling/fitting brackets, felt them to be way expensive for what I require.
Looked at the old fashioned aluminium photo cases, but couldn't find one large enough, and the industrial type aluminium cases are way too heavy.
There are more modern 'givi' type top boxes, but somehow don't look right on a classic scooter.
Did consider a Wicker type basket, but don't fancy a couple of grand's worth of camera kit sat on the back of a scooter in something so flimsy.
The box needs to be lockable, don't require much in the way of padding/foam inserts as the kit will be placed in a padded lowepro bag before being secured in the case.
And I would be fitting brackets/clamps to secure it to the back rack of the scooter.
Looking to spend no more than £100
Any pointers/advice/help gratefully received.
